Job Match Profiling Ltd has grown out of the success of profiling provided to clients seeking competent Sales Professionals for a variety of critical roles, combined with the wider need for businesses to identify the very best candidates from large numbers of applicants.
In setting up the business, we searched available profiling options to find facilities that offered:
- Simplicity of test delivery to the candidate.
- Easily read comprehensive reporting for the employer, which requires no further interpretation.
- Reliability that an employer can learn to trust.
- Cost-effectiveness to both large and small businesses.
- A range of tests to support most organisations in most employment roles.
We believe that the tests and reports offered here reflect those criteria very well. Feedback from satisfied clients confirms our beliefs.
In providing this profiling service, we are able to offer a number of benefits to employers, including:
- Where previously an employer may have employed the services of an employment consultant in order to have access to the psychometric testing facilities, or profiling, this testing can now be accessed directly by the employer. The reports are not couched in technical jargon and the language of experts, and do not generally require further interpretation. (Further interpretation is available on request.) The costs of a full recruitment package are significantly reduced.
- In the event that profiling is undertaken prior to interview (our recommended sequence), an employer is able to prepare relative questions to further probe areas of potential weakness, deficiency or concern. (Assistance in preparation of such questions is available on request.) These areas of concern, and the relevant questions, will almost certainly never be brought to light without the benefit of profiling.
- Making the “wrong” appointment can be a very expensive exercise. This can be particularly relevant in some sectors, where removing an incompetent or inappropriate employee can be a costly and time consuming exercise. The costs involved in going through the employment process again, retraining a new employee, and potentially paying the costs of the initial employee’s errors can be crippling.
- Online testing means that tests can be emailed to a candidate in, say, Sydney, when the employer may be based in Greymouth. The result is sent to the employer (and the candidate if you choose to) who can then decide objectively whether the cost of interviewing this candidate can be justified, based on some very reliable indicators.
- You can help avoid the dreaded “Would I have employed them if I had known?” question. Fore-warned is fore-armed!
